Primary sources come first

AEOsrc uses official documentation for virtually everything published on the site. When an article discusses ChatGPT, Claude, Google Search, Perplexity, Copilot, structured data, or another platform or standard, the first research target is the organization responsible for it.

Technical articles may also use original academic papers, standards documentation, and research from the teams that developed the methods being explained. Secondary reporting is used only when it adds necessary context that cannot be obtained from a primary source.

Facts, interpretation, and uncertainty

Many details about answer-engine retrieval, ranking, and citation systems are proprietary. AEOsrc does not present assumptions about those systems as confirmed facts.

Articles distinguish among documented platform behavior, established technical principles, practical interpretation, and unproven or experimental tactics. When public evidence is limited, the article should say so directly rather than filling the gap with certainty.

Citations should support specific claims

Sources are listed at the bottom of each article so readers can verify important claims and continue into the original documentation. Source lists are article-specific rather than copied across the site.

AI-assisted publishing

AEOsrc is created primarily with AI assistance. AI supports research, comparison, organization, drafting, editing, and code generation. Human judgment guides the publication’s purpose, structure, visual design, source selection, and final editorial decisions.

AI-generated output can be inaccurate, overly confident, or based on incomplete context. For that reason, the site emphasizes primary documentation, visible citations, and review rather than treating generated text as evidence.

Updates and corrections

AEO changes quickly, and information can become outdated or prove inaccurate. When AEOsrc identifies a meaningful problem, the affected article may be corrected, clarified, or expanded.
